Corporation’s Aim
In general, the main object of the Corporation is to provide for the welfare and economic uplift of economically backward section of the minorities in the State, irrespective of the caste, creed and sex, for that purpose functions of the Corporation are –
- To plan, promote, undertake, manage and carry out on its own or in collaboration with State Government and Central Government , and other statutory bodies, companies, or firms under control of State Government and Central Government, or through such Non-Government organisations or other agencies the programmes of economic development including business, trade or activity, marketing, as may be approved by the Government in the field of agriculture, small-scale industry, profession, transport and such other activity.
- To implement loan schemes such as Term Loan, Micro-finance, Education loan, or any other loan scheme as approved by State Government.
- To obtain loan from NMDFC within the limit of guarantee given by State Government,
- To implement the training programmes and exhibition programmes as per the guidelines given by State Government, Central Government and NMDFC.
